Gluten Free Cashew & Nutella Oatmeal

This decadent oatmeal is the ideal way to start the weekend! The creamy Nutella adds an element of indulgence to what would be an ordinary breakfast. Fresh, raw cashews are perfect for adding crunch and protein and work well with the oats and chocolate spread.

Gluten free breakfast with Nutella oatmeal

Most people either put peanut butter or butter in their oatmeal or porridge. I'm more a fan of butter but wanted to try something different and reached for the jar of Nutella instead. The best thing about this recipe is that it's so easy to make--use either microwavable porridge or oatmeal or stir some up on the stove, whichever is your favourite.

Raw, unsalted cashews with Nutella oatmeal


For the oatmeal
1 tablespoon Nutella
1 handful cashew nuts, raw
2 sachets oatmeal

  1. Make up the porridge or oatmeal according to the instructions on the packet
  2. Stir in the Nutella and top with cashew nuts
  3. Serve & enjoy
