Oreo Overload Brownies
Friday, June 28, 2013
Oreo cookies meet brownie in an unbelievable way in this deliciously sinful dessert!
You guys, these brownies will change your life. I promise. If you are an Oreo lover, you'll sink into this without second thought. Remember last week, I shared with you that lovely recipe for delicious Oreo butter? Well, I had a few queries about what to do with the stuff. While I fully condone just going at it with a spoon, those of you with a bit more decorum, might prefer to incorporate into these tasty treats.
I made this brownies for a barbecue we went to last week and I feel pretty safe in saying they were a hit! I allowed myself one small brownie beforehand to taste test that they were okay and I shared one with Callum while we there. At the end of the barbecue, I collected my empty plate. So, yeah, they were popular ... just in time for the Fourth of July, too! Can you imagine these at the Independence Day barbecue???? Forget the fireworks, you'll be the star of the show with these delicious treats!

Baked Chicken Parmarella Meatballs Two Ways
Wednesday, June 26, 2013
Today, you guys are in for a treat! One of my fabulous co-hostesses from the Tasty Tuesdays link party is here guest posting a yummy baked meatballs recipe as well as two different ideas for serving them up!
Hi guys! I am super excited to be guest blogging over here today! Thank you, Anyonita! My name is Tara and I blog over at Organized SAHM, where you will find menu plans, recipes, homeschooling posts, crafts, Pinterest ideas, book reviews and sewing projects. I am an organized mom to four kiddos, otherwise known as Things on my blog to protect their identity. Today, I am going to share a budget-friendly meal that you can make two ways!
With all of the tomatoes from our garden we have coming in this summer, I have been trying to perfect my spaghetti sauce! I am oh. so. close. to getting it exactly where I want it. In the meantime, I am taking a break from gluten-free pasta this week. We love meatballs, but for some reason, I never make them with chicken. That needed to be remedied. Once I decided to make the classic chicken and cheese meatballs, I had trouble deciding which cheese to go with (parmesan or mozzarella). Decisions, decisions. In the end, I added both. These were good! I didn't see The Man's face until he was done eating.
Before we get to the recipe, don't miss this amazing summer giveaway coming to you from 17 bloggers! One lucky blogger will win 18 fantastic prizes to promote their blog including top billing ad space on Anyonita Nibbles!

Oreo Butter
Friday, June 21, 2013
Made with coconut oil, Oreo butter is a tantalizing guilty pleasure that's perfect eaten on its own or swirled into desserts!
The humble Oreo. Enjoyed on its own or dunked into tall glasses of milk. Like many children growing up in the 90s, Oreos were the best part of afterschool. Leaving the bookbag at the door and settling at the table for a handful of Oreos and milk was what afternoons were made for! Nowadays Oreos have evolved from being the classic American sandwich cookie and are in everything--cakes, cheesecakes, brownies, ice cream and even other cookies!

Gluten Free Bacon & Emmental Nids de Tartiflette
Wednesday, June 19, 2013
These crowd-pleasing cheesy potato nests get a punch of flavor from smoky bacon!
This recipe, this potatoy, bacony, cheesy recipe is an adaptation from Rachel Khoo's Nids de Tartiflette from The Little Paris Kitchen.
Nids de tartiflette is roughly translated by Rachel as being cheese and potato nests. And that is exactly what they are. Scrumptious little nests that your family will want over and over again.
I made 9 from this recipe, and my toddler ate 1 1/2 of them! Rachel suggests them as an appetizer or a side dish. But I bumped up the bacon, served it with a fresh salad of iceberg, tomatoes, red grapes and pistachios and some homemade garlic bread courtesy of a special recipe and they were very filling!
Rachel's original recipe calls for Reblochon cheese, a cheese from the Alps. She describes it as having a pungent aroma and a nutty taste. An alternative, she suggested, is Brie. Except, I cannot stand the flavor of Brie. So I took inspiration for her nutty comment and went for the nuttiest cheese I know: Emmental. Or, as it's colloquially referred to in the US, Swiss. I'm thinking Edam, Munster and Provolone would all be equally good substitutes too. Keep reading for the recipe!
