Gooey Marshmallow Caramel Popcorn 

If you ever need a movie night treat, reach for this recipe. This gooey marshmallow caramel popcorn will change your life, or at least your snacking habits! It's perfect party food, great for nights in and would be utterly delicious on Bonfire Night, too.

I've had an obsession with caramel corn since I was a child. I'd spend the Christmas holidays each year working through one of those enormous multi-flavor popcorn tubs and the caramel was always the first to go! Combine the delicious taste of caramel corn with sticky, gooey marshmallow and you've got a winner!

Ingredients:

For the marshmallow caramel popcorn
1 bag microwave popcorn
2 heaped tbsp unsalted butter
3 level tbsp brown sugar
3 heaped tbsp Marshmallow Fluff

Instructions:

Gooey Marshmallow Caramel Popcorn
  1. Pop the popcorn according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. While the popcorn is popping, melt butter and sugar in a saucepan.
  3. Once the sugar is dissolved and the butter is melted, add the marshmallow fluff.
  4. Whisk together to combine. (It might be a bit thick at first, but just start slowly to get it going.)
  5. Pour the marshmallow mix over the cooked popcorn.
  6. Mix well.
  7. The popcorn will keep in an airtight container or zip-seal baggy for two to three days.
